Glint Shards are a permanent currency you earn from every run — even runs that end — based on how long you survive and how many enemies you destroy, plus a bonus per boss and on higher difficulties. There are no in-app purchases; shards can only be earned by playing.
Spend Glint Shards in the Upgrade Shop on permanent starting-stat boosts, and in the Hangar and Stages screens to unlock pilots and stages. A few pilots also unlock automatically when you complete an in-game milestone, such as surviving eight minutes or beating a boss.
A special run whose randomness is fixed by the day's date, so every player faces the same wave order. Your best Daily score is tracked locally and the seed rolls over each day.
Yes. Open Settings from the main menu for a reduced-flash toggle (which dims the hit flash), a reduced-motion option, a colorblind-safe enemy palette, and haptics and sound toggles.
Open Settings from the main menu and choose "Reset All Progress." This erases your shards, unlocks, achievements, and run history, and cannot be undone. Because everything is stored on-device, deleting the app also removes all saved progress.
No. Glintstorm is fully offline. There is no account, no network requirement, and no online leaderboard — all progress lives on your device.
